Gun Shot Fired At Attempted Attack In West Dublin Last Night

Gardai are investigating after a shot was fired at a home in Carpenterstown in West Dublin last night.

The Irish Independent report that two men on a black scrambler motorbike approached a house in the Fernleigh Estate at 9.45pm.

The man on the rear of the motorbike fired a shotgun at the home, damaging the front door. 

Nobody was injured in the attempted attack and the two men escaped on the motorbike in the direction of Coolmine.
