Here’s How The Irish Colleges Fared In The Latest World University Rankings

James Fenton

The 2016/2017 Times Higher Education World University Rankings were published today and no Irish colleges have made the top 200.

University College Dublin, The Royal College of Surgeons and NUI Galway all take their place in the 201-250 band while University College Cork (pictured below) and NUI Maynooth made the 351-400 band.

Other colleges to make the list were Dublin City University (401-500), University of Limerick (501-600) and Dublin Institute of Technology(601-800).

Unfortunately for the clumsy collators at Trinity College, their final position is still pending as, according to RTÉ, they misplaced a decimal point when collecting data.

Ah, Trinners.
