It appears that Dublin won’t be joining the transport ranks of London, New York or LA any time soon as transport chiefs have told the ride sharing company Uber that it doesn’t support its plans to expand in Dublin.
According to 98fm, it’s the strict regulations of the taxi industry that is limiting Ireland to Uber access.
The international taxi company feels at a loss as it claims it could help ease Dublin’s constant traffic.
The company allows private drivers to give lifts to people in their area, easing traffic and promoting carpooling.
