The iconic Screen Cinema, which closed down on Hawkins Street at the start of 2016, is to be turned into a mixed-use venue consisting of offices, a music venue, a cafe, bar and restaurant.
Dublin City Council have approved planning permission for a 10-storey venue to be built on the site of the former cinema.
The new building will have space for a cafe, shops and a restaurant, landscaped roof terraces and a 500-seater basement venue for music and entertainment which will also have a bar and restaurant.
Here’s what the new building is expected to look like…
