An investigation into a salmonella outbreak that claimed the life of Dublin woman has been extended to 17 new areas.
According to The Irish Independent, a spokesperson for the HSE has confirmed that over 50 people on the Northside became ill from food in recent times.
The kitchen of a pub in Portmarnock was shut down earlier this month, after Sandra Murphy O’Brien died following a private party on the premises.
The Food Safety Authority Of Ireland and the HSE are currently investigating the outbreak.
