If you’ve recently received an email about updating your Netflix membership then we sincerely hope you didn’t follow through with the outlined instructions.
A new phishing scam aimed at the streaming site’s customers is doing the rounds.
The email brings recipients to a fake Netflix log in page similar to this one:
Once users log in to the fake site they’re brought to separate web pages asking for personal info such as their billing address and credit card information.
After they’ve provided their information on the fraudulent website, they are then re-directed to the actual Netflix homepage.
