PIC: Can You Notice Why The Gardai Stopped This Bicycle?

Sarah

“When it a bicycle not a bicycle?” The Gardai had us scratching our heads this morning at their cryptic question after they tweeted that the stopped a cyclist in Dundrum.

While the bike appears perfectly normal, on closer look you can see that it in fact has an engine configured into it, and to be compliant with Irish road laws any motorised vehicle needs to be taxed and insured.

Gardai answered: “When it has an engine. Then you need tax, insurance, NCT & a helmet-unlike the guy we stopped in Dundrum.”

The officer must have had eagle eyes in fairness to them, because we would never have noticed that. Would you?
