Gardaí, just yesterday, found three abandoned kittens in a suitcase in Dublin 1.
They shared the image of the defenceless kittens on their Twitter, alongside a reminder for pet owners to always be responsible.
The Garda Press Office said the kittens have since been re-homed.

The DSPCA has re-homed over 900 cats and kittens to date in 2016 alone, a huge increase on previous years.
The good weather and milder Autumn temperatures apparently led to more kittens being born, experts say.
