Inspirational story comin’ atcha this Monday morning.
Porterstown Park Run is an organised 5km that occurs every Saturday mornig at 9:30am in Porterstown, Dublin 15. An established set-up that encourages all to embrace the fresh air, regardless of your fitness levels.
It’s become a bit of a breeding ground for inspirational people, with all people with all sorts of pre-existing conditions taking part.
Just yesterday, the brains behind the operation took to their social media to congratulate Darragh – a runner who completed a 5km this weekend after undergoing a double lung transplant only 61 days previous.

What a man.
Darragh, looking suitably chuffed in his double lung transplant t-shirt, completed the Dublin route with ease.
Now if that doesn’t get you to go to the gym tonight, nothing will…
G’wan Darragh!
