There’s dedication, and then there’s we-love-U2-dedication.
You might think the Irish are a bunch of U2 haters from all the complaining you hear about the homegrown heroes, but judging by people’s attempts to get tickets for their Croke Park concert it’s clear we all love a bitta Bono after all.
Not as much though, as two determined bartenders from Harry Byrnes Pub in Clontarf.
What do you do when you’ve no ticket and you’ve had to go in for your bar shift?
Just pour yourself a pint and climb up on the roof, obvs…
“The things us barmen do to listen to U2” – Christ Almighty this is brilliant.
Dangerous, sure. Genius? 100%.
We hope the two lads were able to hear the concert well enough. They defo had the best view in Dublin, that’s for sure.
Thanks to these two Harry Byrnes legends for sending this in!
