Good news for Dublin’s Southsiders, as a brand new Aldi superstore has opened in the beautiful coastal town that is Blackrock.
The German supermarket giant is the very first retailer to sign up to get involved in the soon-to-be refurbished and extended Frascati Shopping Centre.
The grocery store is set to be an ‘anchor tenant’, joining Marks and Spencer and Debenhams in the newly refurbished Centre.
With a finish date of 2018, the revamp is set to double the centre in size, adding an extra 24 retailers and five food outlets.
The finished product will boast a tempting view over Dublin Bay.
The centre is still open for business while the construction continues.
