Subset's Pro-Choice Mural Has Been Defaced But It's Not What It Seems

Subset is Dublin's open air gallery.

It's made up of a group of creatives who hope to paint over the grey walls of Dublin with incredible artworks and murals.

Their most recent piece launched this morning and has been getting quite a lot of traction online already. The pro-choice mural reads: "HER BODY, HER CHOICE" and can be found on Camden Row.

However, this afternoon someone has plastered "NO" over the mural in red paint.

Many people online expressed their anger and dissatisfaction toward this on social media and it's caused quite a stir.

However, it seems that this was actually intentional.

The mural, located across from Dublin Café, The Fat Fox, made an appearance in their Instagram stories this afternoon. They assured viewers that this is all part of "Subset's genius plan."

They explained that Subset actually put the red paint on their own work. The reason behind this is to show that right now in Ireland, woman have no choice.

Rob from The Fat Fox said: "Currently women have no choice, if we repeal the eight, they will."

Subset really know how to get people talking!
