This Authentic Asian Street Food Restaurant Has Just Opened On The Northside

Alana Laverty

We love finding something new and original just as much as the next fella.

And The Blue Elephant is exactly that.

Based in Clonsilla, their aim is to bring something new and tasty to the area, expanding the local tastes.

A great addition to Dublin North’s foodie scene and just a stone’s throw from Blanch!

The interior is simple, colourful and cool. And they serve their food in takeout cartons which is a nice novelty – if you wanna take your leftovers with you, you can do exactly that without having to ask for a doggy bag.

There are some pretty unusual dishes on the menu.

Like their pork dumpling ramen

And their udon noodles

Their other dishes do not disappoint.

We’d recommend the chicken and spinach soup, the gyoza dumplins, some duck salad, Vietnamese rolls or some mango chicken! All taste wonderful.

Along with some classic favourites like crispy chicken, sweet potato fries and Pad Thai

You can find The Blue Elephant at 1 Weavers Row, Clonsilla Road.

Prices range from €2 to €15, which ain’t bad for some good grub.

And while it may not be the most accessible place in the world for our Southside readers, we can assure you it’ll be well worth the drive.
