If you’re a Dubliner, you’re probably well aware of the famous Dublin gem that is, St. Kevin’s Mart.
Now after 35 years of business on Kevin Street Upper on Wood Quay, the two shop owners are apparently selling the shop.
Darragh Doyle shared the news on Twitter this morning after spotting a sign in the window with the two owners, John and Paul, thanking all of their loyal customers for their years in business.
After 35 years of running an amazing local shop, John and Paul are selling St Kevin’s Mart in Dublin 8. It’s a huge loss to the area. The place served its community so well. #Dublin8 pic.twitter.com/U2PFoTaGZK

It’s truly going to be a massive loss for Dubliners and it’s sad to see it go after being in business for so long.
St. Kevin’s Mart is renowned for their amazing bargains and customer service – and although it will be closing, it’s bound to be remembered as a true Dublin icon.
