Traffic in the city centre was brought to a standstill earlier this evening following a freak Viking Splash accident which involved the vehicle losing its front wheel in the middle of Aungier Street.
The incident happened at around 5pm, when the ship/bus hybrid lost its wheel at the junction of Longford Street little beside Whitefriar Street Church, with delays reported in the area.
Gardaí have since dealt with the breakdown – leaving Aungier Street free of traffic.
