There were shocking scenes in Donnybrook yesterday evening as a massive fight broke out after a rugby match between two fee-paying schools.
The street brawl happened just after 5pm outside Kiely’s Pub in the leafy South Dublin suburb.
Supporters from Terenure College and St Michael’s College can be seen throwing violent punches and kicks in the video below.
Gardai were called to the scene but by the time they arrived everyone had scattered, The Independent reports.
Manager of Kiely’s, John O’Brien, labelled the incident “a disgrace” and said some of the staff were injured as they tried to put a stop to it.
“It was fairly serious out there at one stage. There was no respect,” he added.
