PIC: What Do You Think Of This Dublin Shop Charging For SAUCE In A Chicken Fillet Roll?

Ah here.

Every now and again we’re alerted to some outrageous prices around the city – like €3 for tap water and €4 for a cup of tea – but we don’t know what to make of this.

This receipt was sent to us by Laura Watson who went to Spar on Lower Baggot Street to get a chicken fillet roll, only to discover that they’d charged her her 20c for the taco sauce in the roll.

Yes we realise it’s just 20c, but it’s the principle that feels wrong.
