The latest DAFTÂ Report has just been released and it contains some unwelcome statistics for renters.
The accommodation site found that, after the fifteenth quarter in a row of increases, the average monthly rent is now more than âĴ1,000 a month, and the stock of properties on the market is at an all time low.
As you’ll see below, the most expensive area in Ireland to rent is (surprise surprise) South Dublin City with an average rent of âĴ1,163 a month, while the cheapest areas to rent are Leitrim (âĴ537), Longford (âĴ519), Donegal (âĴ496), and Roscommon (âĴ473).
