The latest DAFT Report has just been released and it contains some unwelcome statistics for renters.
The accommodation site found that, after the fifteenth quarter in a row of increases, the average monthly rent is now more than €1,000 a month, and the stock of properties on the market is at an all time low.
As you'll see below, the most expensive area in Ireland to rent is (surprise surprise) South Dublin City with an average rent of €1,163 a month, while the cheapest areas to rent are Leitrim (€537), Longford (€519), Donegal (€496), and Roscommon (€473).
