A car was driven into the gate lodge at Dunsink Observatory last night.
The incident occurred around 6pm last night, where a car was driven into the small building on the property and set on fire afterwards. This act of vandalism took place just one day after a similar incident at a Flyefit in Malahide.
Three Dublin Fire Brigade units from Finglas, Phibsborough and Blanchardstown were called to the scene, according to TheJournal.ie.

The scientific institution, which was established in 1785, is mainly used at present as residential accommodation and a venue to hire for small meetings and workshops.
Thankfully the gate lodge was derelict and no one was injured in the fire.
