The Bowery in Rathmines is developing quite a reputation for attracting talented, if a bit random, international acts to perform in Dublin 6. First there was Crazy Town (who return this weekend), then there was Maxi Jazz from Faithless, and now two of the biggest names of early 2000s hip-hop have been signed up the popular venue.
Former Eminem protégé Obie Trice featured prominently on Slim Shady’s album The Eminem Show before finding success of his own with his 2003 album Cheers…
Obie will be joined by Swifty McVay, best known as a member of Eminem’s group D12 A.K.A The Dirty Dozen who achieved international prominence with a string of hits in the 2000s…
A must-see for hip-hop fans for sure. The pair will take The Bowery stage on Sunday July 8 and tickets priced at €20 can be found here.
