The Harbour Bar’s ‘It’ Parody Is Fairly Feckin’ Terrifying

James Fenton

Stephen King’s It is one of the most-talked about and terrifying movies of 2017 so it’s inevitable that there’ll be a lot references to it in the build-up to Halloween.

The Harbour Bar in Bray have produced a recreation of some of the scariest scenes in the film and it’s pretty spot on. Directed by David Keeling, the 75-second clip will have you jumping even if you’ve seen the movie and know exactly what is going to happen. Take a look below but don’t say we didn’t warn you.

We can expect to see countless Pennywise costumes over Halloween weekend and any attempts will be doing well to match the Harbour’s effort. It’s all in aid of promoting their Halloween line-up which reads as follows:

Friday October 27

*Rogue

Saturday October 28

The Revellions

Sunday October 29

Syd Arthur and Dave Griffing

Monday October 30

Mark Olsen Duo (The Jayhawks)

We reckon that’s enough to whet your appetite for the following weekend when the seaside venue hosts Ireland’s first ever Toastie Festival on November 3, 4 and 5, more details of which can be found here.

That is of course if you feel safe to leave the house again.
