We’re gonna need a bigger boat.
There’s no sign of Steven Spielberg but Jaws does make an appearance in this fascinating video which was shared online by Kerri-Ann Boylan.
The footage captures a shark swimming around Skerries Harbour in Dublin to the shock and excitement of all those watching.
Keri-Ann, a sailing coach, told Dublin Live:
“I was finished up coaching sailing for the day with the kids out of Skerries sailing club on Sunday at 4.30pm, and was towing in all the kids boats and all the children happened to be in my boat and all of there little dinghy so tide onto my rib.
“As I was about to get them to jump out of my boat and swim there boats in then we saw it. I was coaching 8- 13 year olds about five of them screaming.
“As soon as I saw we all stopped for a minute and reacted to it and had a good gawk, luckily I was quick enough with my phone to get the video.
“It was in about two feet of water just off the slipway in Skerries harbour.
“I’ve always been told growing up that basking sharks where harmless and it looked to be a baby one from what I’m told.
