Welcome students.
So, by now, you've just about settled in after the intensity of Fresher's Month – and also realised that, right now, you're the poorest you're ever going to be.
Alas, fear not, for while some don't give a shit, we here at Lovin Dublin care about you - here are some of the best student deals in Dublin right now.
Let's start with what's truly important to studentkind.

Known as the best and biggest beer garden in Dublin, The Pavillion also boasts some of the cheapest cans, pints and cocktails for students, with room for the world and its mother.
A great, cheap little spot in the heart of Rathmines. Two mojitos for €6 on Mondays, all mojitos, daquiris and Cuba libre's two for €6 until midnight on Fridays, €5 craft beer all day Sunday for the rollovers and admission always free. Well played, Copan.
One for the early starters. These guys kick off their 2-for-1 cocktails at noon and run them until late, every Thursday.
Two for €6 cocktails; Thursday 6-8pm, Friday 6-9pm and Saturday 8-10pm.
Two for €6 mojito Mondays from 5-8pm; and on Thursdays, all cocktails are two for €6 from 5-8pm.
Two for one cocktails on Thursdays – and they also do beer cocktails if that's your thing.
2-for-1 cocktails on a Monday.
Two for one DELICIOUS cocktails all night on Mondays and Tuesdays.
And, for those of you on an extreme budget, Tesco are currently selling four cans of own-brand lager for €2.64. When I asked my source about the quality of this brew, they replied 'It's grand like! I like me beer and I'm happy to drink it'.
Sold.
Because it deserves its own section, okay?
Their Dublin City Centre stores offer a 9" for €5.99 or a 12" for €8.99, or any large pizza for €9.99
16" pizza for €10. Two should feed a morosely hungover house of four.
Neither will exactly top the Dublin pizza charts, but hey, we'll live.
A student haven in Temple Bar. Your own personal stir-fry with all the trimmings, sauces, spices and a side of sticky rice all for a FIVER. Plus you get a free Refresher sweet when you pay your bill. Ideal.
For the veg-lovers in your life. 10% off their €5.50 salads for students = €5 lunch. Sorted.
€6.50 meal deal (burger, chips, drink)
€7.50 lunch deal for some bangin' falafel.
€5.50 for the fanciest parma ham/chicken fillet roll you ever will eat – it'll fill you up until next week too.
Having upped their price from last year, Staple Foods are still killing it some of the tastiest health food in The Pale. With portion sizes to make a farmer happy, a classic wrap for €6.50 and a classic salad for €7.50 will keep you going until tomorrow.
12-5pm Monday to Friday, valid with any student card.
€2.75 for a wrap/roll of your choice, with three toppings. Can't go wrong really.
€5.50 student box - enough to feed two, easily. Also known to melt away hangovers.
Both leaders in their fields, and both delicious. If you are of the tweeting kind, you can tweet @skinflintDUBLIN or @crackbirdDUBLIN with a certain time with the hashtag #tweetseats – and if that time is free, you and one other get your meal for free! Easy peasy.
Every day between 12-1, your choice of beef burger, venison burger, chicken wings and chips, all for €5. The chips are unreal too.
Tucked away into Trinity's campus, The Buttery are known to offer some of the cheapest meal-deals in Dublin. Never need more than a fiver, and a Trinity ID not necessary.
Salad box, coffee and cookie for €6. An ideal set-up for a long day of lectures.
10% off for all students. Soup & sandwich for €6.50. Also - FREE LUNCH on your birthday, with any for of I.D.
And for those of you keeping it real with packed lunches – hit up Mark’s and Spencers between the hours of 7-8pm to avail of most of their products being 30%, 50% or even up to 70% off. You may have to wrestle other lowly students off of the last cooked chicken, but it's definitely worth it.
Two for one deal on Mondays for students, working out at €3.50 a ticket, each.
Tuesday nights €6 for all films, plus a €3.50 voucher for a Big Mac meal. Basically the dream if you're into burgers and movies.
€10 Meal Deal - large popcorn, large drink AND your ticket all for a tenner.
For those who feel very far away from Mammy - GoBé/Go Bus and Citilink busses offer an unbelievably handy deal of €20 return from Dublin toGalway, or Dublin to Cork. Student card must be presented to the driver, and most of these must be booked online.
With all of these options being a direct link between cities, and with wifi on board, you'd be mad not to call home for dinner every weekend.
Mind you, they don't have this...
Despite coming to terms that these next few years are not going to be the most polished of your life..

For a limited time only, a €9 deal for a wash, cut and blow-dry and optional beard trim.
And many beauty and hair institutions offer free haircuts* to people willing to allow trainee hairdressers to work on them. Such as House of Colour, Cut & Sew or Merchant Barber.
*Disclaimer: Despite what you're thinking, there are far fewer horror-stories than you think.
Because students can afford brunch now, apparently.
They offer bottomless Mimosas at their Brunch Club for €15
Not normally known for its value, but these guys offer one of the best and definitely the cheapest brunch in town, with most meals going at about €5, and sides going for €2.50. Simple, wholesome food done well, at a price that won't make your wallet weep.
