Dublin Fire Brigade had an exceptionally busy Easter weekend and it today their emergency ambulance service is flying around all over the city.

They announced at 12.20pm that they have received a mindblowing 47 emergency 999 calls in their control room since 8am this morning.

That's over 10 calls an hour.

Dublin Fire Brigade have over 100 Paramedics available on a 24/7 basis in the event of a major emergency.

All operational firefighters rotate between Fire and Rescue to Emergency Ambulance duties, so these folk are always super busy.

Fair play.
