Traffic in Dublin’s city centre has been heightened by the appearance of two large protests today on O’Connell Street.
Both demonstrations are taking place in order to prevent the demolition of 13 and 18 Moore Street, two buildings of historic significance dating back to the 1916 Rising.
The first rally began at 1pm, with crowds thought to be in the several hundreds marching from Liberty Hall to Moore Street.
