The temperatures have decreased slightly and the rain has returned with a vengeance but does that mean summer 2018 is over? To some eager beavers, it seems it does.
With 75 days to go until Halloween, some Dubliners are wasting no time in getting prepared.
Dublin Fire Brigade has posted images on Twitter which depict one of their firefighters extinguishing a blaze made of of wood, crates and other materials.

DFB encourages anyone who is concerned about stockpiling in the lead up to Halloween to contact their local council.
Still, it’s not as bad as opening a Christmas shop in August is it?
