Feeling peckish? We’ve got just the thing.
The only thing better than a much-loved, reliable restaurant is a brand new, shiny one that’s full of exciting possibilities.
We’re always on the lookout for new openings to make sure you’re the first to find out about the next big thing and luckily, there have been some very promising new ones in the city over the past few weeks.
Here are a few that should definitely be on your ‘must try’ list…Â
1. Moro Kitchen — Camden StreetÂ
If you’re a fan of Moroccan food, this is one for you. Newly-opened by the owners of Dada, it has a nice ‘n’ casual vibe.Â
Moro serve dishes like spicy harissa falafel wraps, Moroccan style eggs, aubergine paté, marinated grills and the classic merguez.
Yum, yum, yum, yum.Â
2. The Pot Bellied Pig — Rathmines
Our favourite new Dublin cafe.Â
It is the dreamiest, most pink, perfect and majestic coffee shop to ever exist.Â
We would recommend the avocado on toast with poached eggs and a flat white <3
3. Five Points — Harold’s CrossÂ
Brand newly opened by the crowd behind 3fe, this is a must-visit this week.Â
A goddamn priority.Â
The food is sublime, and the coffee is nothing short of heaven sent. Duh.Â
4. NoLIta — South Great George’s StreetÂ
The latest delight to come to town is a classic Italian eatery meets New York bar, and it’s inspired by the hip NY neighbourhood North of Little Italy (NoLIta).
A welcome addition to Dublin’s social scene for sure. As NoLIta say themselves, “we’re all about the pursuit of good times.”Â
5. The Lucky Tortoise — Ranelagh
We’ve mentioned this one a few times now, but it’s just THAT good.Â
Located in The Hill pub in Ranelagh, this crowd from London are cooking up a literal storm.Â
Open every Sunday for brunch/lunch/dinner.Â
