It can be hard to keep up with everything happening on the Dublin restaurant scene. It’s our job to do just that but even we struggle, with a new venue seeming to pop up every hour.
To get you up to speed this week, we’ve picked out five of the hottest venues to open (or, in one case, reopen).
Time to pop on the fat pants and to try them all post-haste.
1. The all new Pichet
For years this has been one of the most popular venues in town. They’ve been closed for a while to give the place a makeover, develop an exciting new menu and make it even more beautiful, but they just reopened last night.

2. Cirillo’s
This brand new pizza spot on Baggot Street is serving wonderfully simple pizzas and all at very affordable prices.

3. Tram Café
An excellent little addition to the city down beside the Jervis centre. Do some shopping, then pop in and relax outside with coffee and cake.
