Debbie’s story

A few years ago I was re-seeing my ex for a few months and everything seemed to be going ok.

We had arranged to meet up one evening on O’Connell Street but his friend turned up instead.

He passed on the information that my ex no longer wanted to go out with me.

A few weekends later I ended up kissing my ex’s cousin with the full intention of annoying him because I knew he’d find out.

Then we bumped into each other on a night out. And it was clear he had found out about me kissing his cousin.

I just pointed out that he did not have the balls to break up with me himself and he responded with, and I quote, “No, but it cost me two cans of Fosters and bus fare.”

I just walked away.
