Here’s What The Weather Will Be Like In Dublin For Christmas Week

It unfortunately doesn’t seem like a White Christmas is on the cards… 

Queen of weather, Met Éireann’s Jean Byrne, has been scanning the charts to see what lies ahead as December 25 approaches, and, unfortunately, she is expecting fairly typical Irish Christmas weather.

You guessed it, rain and slush. 

Colder weather is kicking in on Wednesday night and into Thursday, with some wintry showers likely.

Our only chances of snow is sleet in parts of the west and north, and potentially snow over high ground.

Temperatures will rise on Friday ever so slightly, but will drop again on Saturday, with those conditions likely to persist into Christmas Day.
