It’s almost Valentine’s Day and RTÉ are going all out to make sure that tonight’s The Late Late Show is as loved-up as possible.
Last year’s Valentine’s special was must-see TV in which over 500,000 viewers tuned in to watch Ryan Tubridy set several single members of the audience up on live dates, alongside memorable interviews with Katie Hopkins and Ronan O’Gara.
To set the mood for the night, Chris DeBurgh will perform his hit Lady In Red, while Johnny Logan will be in studio to sing his Eurovision classic Hold Me Now.

Not only that, but living legend Bonnie Tyler’s live performance of Total Eclipse Of The Heart.
Other guests will include Dublin footballer Philly McMahon and model blogger Pippa O’Connor, while Tubridy will play Cupid by involving the audience in a series of games to find their soulmate.

While this sounds like it might just be greatest television event ever, it faces stiff competition from The Graham Norton Show, which has lined up Oscar-winner Julianne Moore, Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson, presenting duo Ant & Dec and girl band Little Mix.
Looks like we’re staying in.
