This TED Talk Entitled ‘Which Country Does The Most Good For The World?’ Will Make You Beam With Pride

We all know that Ireland is the bomb.com, but we didn’t know to what extent.

Giving a TED Talk on globalisation, Policy advisor Simon Anholt has made a list of which countries are the ‘goodest’ of all.

Anholt has dreamed up an unusual scale to get governments thinking outwardly: The Good Country Index. In a witty and thought-provoking talk, he answers the question, “Which country does the most good?”

The video is 17 minutes long, but if you wish to see the top ten in all their good glory – skip to 12:20.

Well, consider us chuffed.

However, that talk was given in 2014, and since then we have unfortunately dropped 10 places to number 11

Let’s hope this index encourages people to pick up the slack and get us back into that coveted top spot.
