A Scottish brewing company called BrewDog is offering members of its staff a whole week’s paid leave when they welcome a new dog into their home.
Paid. Leave. To. Play. With. A. Dog.
The company also encourages employees to bring their dogs to work once the leave is over, officially making them the best job in the whole world.
Brewdog currently welcomes up to 50 ‘office dogs’ every day, meaning that even if you’re not the lucky owner of a pooch – you’re surrounded with them each and every day.

BrewDog co-founder James Watt had this to say about the paid leave:
“It’s not easy trying to juggle work and settle a new dog into your life, and many members of our crew have four-legged friends at home. So we wanted to take the stress out of the situation and let our teams take the time they need to welcome their new puppy or dog into their family.”
“We always want to raise the bar when it comes to offering our staff the best possible benefits; at BrewDog, we care about two things above all else. People and beer. We also just really, really like dogs.”
