katedemolder

Drumcondra is a true jewel in the crown that is Dublin’s city centre. A hub of activity, be it food, drink or craic.

We thought it was about time we racked up a list of some of the places you have to hit up when you’re in the area. Treat yo’ self to some of the best and brightest the wonderful neighbourhood of Drumcondra has to offer.

1. Fagan’s Pub

Right in the heart of Drumcondra is the famous pub that is Fagan’s. Named time and again as the best pub on the northside, Fagan’s has nailed the perfect pub atmosphere, with stellar food, drink, service and feel. It’s also a pretty good looking pub, if we do say so ourselves.

And if it’s good enough for Olly Murs

2. Bread and Butter

The most divine little spot on the Lower Drumcondra Road. Bread and Butter boast an amazing range of artisan products, one of the best hot chocolates you’ll ever taste and the servers are genuinely good craic.

Owned by the same small team behind The Lovely Food Company restaurants, these guys know good food.

6. Anderson’s Creperie

The perfect spot to hit up on a lazy Sunday morning, Anderson’s is the best place in Drumcondra, and maybe Dublin, to get your authentic French crepe fix. The servers are a dream, the crepes are light but filling and all round atmosphere is just the dreamiest.
