When we think of Capel Street, we usually think of the eclectic mix that is great sushi, old man pubs and Pantibar. But this week, we’re highlighting one of Capel Street’s dreamiest haunts – that being, Camerino Bakery.Â
This place does everything, from novelty cakes, to whopper sandwiches, to great coffee to tasty vegetarian treats.Â
So what is it that makes this place so special? Well, let us tell you.Â
First comes first…
Their coffee is brewed by Roasted Brown, so you know it’s legit. And their leaf tea comes from Clement & Pekoe – meaning you’re in excellent hands.Â
Did you mention novelty cakes?
We certainly did. And it’s not just cakes they dish up… Cookies, brownies, cupcakes and buns, the talented bakers behind the scenes are known to pull out all the stops when it comes to tasty and aesthetically pleasing treats.
Woah. What about lunch?
They boast daily changing lunch menu, including a list of sandwiches (priced at €5 – €5.50 – a BARGAIN in Dublin nowadays. See our thoughts on that here) on bread baked fresh in-house, salads and soups. Â
Check out their lunch menu in full here.
They’ve also received tonnes of awards regarding their food and baking skills, so ultimately, we’re just sayin’ you’re in very good hands.Â
I mean… Look at this CAKE
If the above hasn’t convinced you, then we don’t know what will.
You can find Camerino Bakery at 158 Capel Street, Dublin 1.
