John Terry Pays Tribute To Dubliner Oran Tully Who Has Passed Away Aged 19

Former England and Chelsea captain John Terry has joined in the hundreds of social media tributes to Dubliner Oran Tully (19) who passed away on Sunday after battling a rare bowel condition.

Oran was a huge fan of Chelsea, as well as Bohemians here in Dublin, and back in 2013 he captured the hearts of Sky Sports viewers in the programme My Special Day. In it, Oran and his father travelled to Stamford Bridge where they met all of his heroes and spent the day with Terry.

Since then, Oran has become well-known in League Of Ireland circles and his passing drew a number of tributes from players and fans alike. Last night, Terry himself took to Instagram to express his sadness, posting:

‘Absolutely devastated to hear the terribly sad news that my little mate Oran Tully has passed away.
‘Oran loved Chelsea and knew everything about every Chelsea player past and present.
‘RIP mate.
‘My condolences love and thoughts are with the Tully family.’

League Of Ireland fans are now organising special tributes to Oran which will take place at this weekend’s games…
