Breakfast In A Glass – Kiwi Workout Fuel


  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Kiwis
  • Orange Juice
  • Couple of mint sprigs
  • Plain yoghurt
  • Porridge Oats

So I don’t know if people are still keeping their new year’s resolutions but I’m hoping a few of you are so I decided to put something together for those of you trying to get fit. This is an entire breakfast in a glass and it will give you the fuel to get through the morning without snacking on chocolate like a fat bastard or give you the fuel you need to get out there running or doing whatever it is that keeps you fit. Go on fuck it all into the blender and give it a lash!


Step 1

The beauty is that you can buy a large version of all the ingredients on a Sunday and have them for the week.


Step 2

The kiwis are the only thing that you really need to prep. Lash them onto the chopping board.


Step 3

Top and tail them with a sharp knife and run your knife around the outside to create a little strip.


Step 4

Chef trick alert!!! Ditch the knife and grab a large spoon. Use the spoon to peel away the skin. This means that you lose fuck all of the flesh.


Step 5

You’re kiwis should look absolutely perfect like this. If you haven’t fucked it up that is.


Step 6

Lash them into a blender along with the banana.


Step 7

Fuck in the mint leaves.


Step 8

Nice little sprinkle of porridge oats. About half a cup say but don’t be measuring it like a tool. No time in the morning for that.


Step 9

Fuck in a good amount of yoghurt.


Step 10

Step 11

Lash in a good glass of orange juice. Blend the shit out of it. If it is too thick add more juice. Too thin then add in a bit more yoghurt Simples.


Step 12

It should be lovely and smooth and believe this is really fucking filling.


Step 13

Breakfast in a glass is served and it actually tastes delicious. If you prefer things a little sweet you could always drizzle in a little honey.


I know what a massive pain in the hole it can be eating something healthy in the morning when you are legging it out to work but this smoothie literally takes about 3 minutes to lash together. The biggest bonus is that it will see you through to lunchtime as well so you won’t be snacking and eating shit all morning. Give it a lash!
