As Hurricane Ophelia wreaks havoc across the country, Met Éireann and the Gardaí have made no bones about the fact that it’s in our best interests to stay safe indoors.
Bill Clinton has other ideas, however, and has been spotted roaming the streets of Dublin as he prepares to be presented with an honorary doctorate at DCU tomorrow.
While Storm Ophelia forced the former POTUS to postpone a planned intervention in Northern Ireland’s political stalemate, it hasn’t stopped him getting out and about, allegedly.

ESB have reported that up to 385,000 homes have been left without power as Hurricane Ophelia. Earlier today, it was announced that schools will remain closed tomorrow.
Following careful consideration by the National Emergency Coordination Group, the Department of Education and Skills, has decided that all schools will remain closed tomorrow #Ophelia

Experts have warned that the situation remains dangerous, and that staying indoors is highly recommended.
