The Gardaí have shared an image this evening of an iPhone that has come into their possession at Finglas Garda station.
In these situations, there’s usually a chance that the owner will be reunited with their property within a few days but this appears to be a special circumstance.
According to the guards, the person in question appears to be Canadian and is due to fly back to Toronto on Wednesday.

It would be an awful shame to see someone travel across the Atlantic with no phone for the Christmas but it does beg the question, how did the guards know all that info?
