Motorists have been warned to expect delays this afternoon following a collision involving eight cars in Tallaght.
The incident took place on the Katherine Tynan Road shortly after 12pm and the route has now been closed while gardaí and ambulance units attend the scene.

It is not known whether anyone has been injured in the crash, which is believed to have involved eight cars.
There has also been some disruption to traffic in other areas of this city this afternoon, with Harold’s Cross Road among the areas affected.
