A while back, Ariana Grande announced that she was heading to Ireland as part of her European Tour in 2019, playing the 3Arena on September 22.
Today was the day the coveted tickets went on sale and people are not happy with how things went down on Ticketmaster this morning.
Due to be released at 10am, many people did what we all do – set the alarm and sit staring at the Ticketmaster website, hand hovering over the mouse ready to pounce and grab a ticket before they sell out. Turns out, no matter how quick you were these tickets just flew out the door.
Cue angry Tweets…
So I was trying to get tickets for @ArianaGrande for my sister & within 5 minutes all gone, Iv been on the computer since 9am & they went on sale at 10am #WTF, I know first world problem. #Ticketmaster I’m not happy, I’ll have to rethink them Christmas presents ????????????

@Ticketmaster get your act together waiting on tickets since 9.30 this morning for @ArianaGrande in September tickets went on sale at 10 this morning and you have no tickets available at 10 in the morning FFS. You are a sham of a company.

Moments after the first date sold out, the “thank u, next” hitmaker released a second gig.
Saying that, the second batch of tickets were snapped up just as fast. Ticket prices started at €77 for general admission standing, while seated tickets started at a whopping €82. Right before Christmas!
Some sites are now selling these tickets for mega bucks, we’re talking up to €800. Shocking.
Let’s hope Santa sorts you out, otherwise you’re going to have to fork out a small fortune to see Ariana next year.
