This isn’t the start to the bank holiday that anybody wanted.
But traffic on the M50 is now down to just two lanes, after a truck collided with multiple cars near the Ballinteer exit on the southbound carriageway.
No injuries have been reported, but on a day where thousands will be travelling south towards Wicklow and Wexford, this is likely to cause some serious delays on the country’s busiest road.
