At this time of year everyone looks forward to spending some well earned time off with family, catching up with old friends and just generally celebrating the holiday with our nearest and dearest. Most of us have family members who have emigrated (many unfortunately not by choice) and who will be spending Christmas thousands of miles away from home. This video captures the feelings of Irish emigrants, via Skype conversations, as they tell of their sadness being so far from home this week and how it takes distance to truly appreciate how great our city is.
