Pedestrians witnessed a large amount of smoke issuing from under the shutters of Weir & Sons on Grafton Street in the last hour or so.
Dublin Fire Brigade has been called to the scene to investigate the cause of the smoke but so far they have not located any fire.

The occupants of the neighbouring AIB building have been evacuated while the cause of the smoke is being investigated.
