The company that owns Blanchardstown Centre has recently lodged a planning permission application for a massive extension at the Dublin 15 shopping centre.
According to Fora, Multi Corporation have submitted the application to Fingal County Council for an enormous 60,000 sq ft development, creating several large retail units on the lower and upper levels of the central mall.
It is believed that the extension will cost upwards of €15 million.
The planning is expected to be granted, which will see a number of existing stores relocated in the move.
The construction project is set to support 125 jobs.
Dominc Deeny, Multi Corporation’s country manager for Ireland, has gone on to say that this is the first in a number of planned investments in the Dublin shopping centre.
