While most of Dublin are remaining indoors while ex-hurricane Ophelia runs its course, for some travel is unavoidable and these are the people who really need to be aware of the dangers and diversions currently in place around the city.
The strong winds that have been assailing the city today have resulted in numerous tree falls and other dangerous incidents, and now Dublin Fire Brigade has just told the public that they’ve had to shut off access to Benson Street on Hanover Quay due to falling debris from a building.
