There’s no better time to stuff your face than December – end your year with a full tummy and chocolate smudged around the side of your mouth.

You know by now that every Monday I come to your with seven succulent dishes to tempt and excite your tastebuds and this week is no different.
Here’s some of my top picks:
1. Gnocchi – La Cucina
The gnocchi in La Cucina is some of the best in the city.
It’s the perfect consistency, light, fluffy pillows of comfort.
Made fresh to order, this place is a hidden gem.
2. Chilli Kale Carne – Foodie Café
House-made beef chilli, sweet potato, chorizo, guacamole, kale salad and lime and jalapeno dressing – a match made in heaven for lunch-goers looking for a salad with a difference.
3. Cheese Board – Piglet
Is there anything in this life better than a cheeseboard?
Piglet specialise in Italian wines and tapas, and their meats and cheeses are some of the best to be had in town, plus it’s super affordable.
This charming place is usually booming in the evenings and brings a little something different to our fair city.
4. Surf’N’Turf Nachos – Dillingers
Dillingers serve up an incredible Surf’N’Turf nacho dish. It full to the brim with chilli, crab claws and all the rest of the magical ingredients that make up a whopper nacho dish.
YUM.
5. Nachos Burger – Wing It
This is the ultimate cheat meal.
Nachos and a burger all wrapped up in a toasty bun.
Of course, it’s smothered in cheese too.
Amen to that.
6. Bao – Bao House
Bao down to these fluffy beauties.
Stuffed with whatever your little heart desires.
I recommend the duck!
7. Vegan Afternoon Tea – Póg
A healthy take on a classic.
You’ll get three tiers of delectable treats, from sambos to dainty cakes.
