If you’ve ever been so desperate to go to something that you’ve resorted to handing over stacks of cash to a tout, then you’ll know what a pain in the hole it is.
And usually, if the gig or festival was deadly, it’s money well spent so you don’t care.
Undoubtedly Coldplay’s gig at the weekend will probably go down in history as one of the best Ireland’s ever hosted, so Jamie Harrington from Ballymun wasn’t too fussed about handing over €200 for a ticket.
But all his dreams really came true when Chris Martin strolled into his workplace, The International Bar on Wicklow Street, last night and chatted to him.
Not only did Chris offer to refund Jamie, but he then handed him 50 quid!
So just met chris martin from @coldplay in work and he is the soundest bloke ever he Gave me €50 cause i told him how much a tout charged me pic.twitter.com/AzVrN4r8BZ

Jamie told us that Chris was “more than happy to meet fans” and is officially “the soundest person on earth”.
Legend.
