Dublin Man Openly Admits To Breeding Pugs For Meat

katedemolder

A Dublin man has openly and unashamedly admitted to breeding, selling and importing pugs for the Asian meat trade.

The man, known only as Gerry, spoke candidly about his meat business on the Adrian Kennedy show on 98FM, during a discussion the presenter was having about the cruelty of greyhound racing.

Claiming he was doing anything wrong, Gerry stated that pug was his preferred breed due to the meat being fattier and thus more appealing to the Asian market.

The Dublin man also admitted to earning €300 per puppy.

When asked if he felt guilty, he said: “I’m not ashamed of myself. it’s business.”
