Gardaí Appeal For Information Following Serious Dublin Assault

A man was hospitalised following an assault outside a pub in Blanchardstown in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The man (30s) was brought to Connolly Hospital after sustaining serious head injuries.

He remains in hospital but is said to now be in stable condition.

The incident is believe to have occurred at approximately 1.55am on Sunday morning.

A man was arrested but has since been released without charge — investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and are asking taxi drivers who were working in the area at the time of the incident to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01-6667000 or the Garda Confidential Line on 180066111.
